Our most recent fiscal year has just ended and, once again, Big Brothers Big Sisters has achieved remarkable results. We have provided critical mentoring services to over 1,900 children across Central Maryland and on the Lower Eastern Shore – our most successful year ever! More importantly, we have made great strides in improving the lives of children across our neighborhoods and communities.
We are so grateful for the support of our partners, our donors, and our volunteers. Together, we have broadened our programs and accomplished amazing outcomes for local children and youth. Just a sampling of the results: nearly 90% of the children we served this year reported improved self-confidence, over 70% improved their academic performance, and over 80% showed greater trust toward others.
